ONLINE CLASSES:
Since closures began, Kallpachay has rolled out numerous weekly online classes that are open to the public. A full listing of these classes can be found here.
IN-PERSON SUMMER CAMP CLOSURES:
Due to the current public safety restrictions with stay-at-home orders most likely remaining in place through summer in Los Angeles, all registrants have automatically been enrolled in the virtual camp that has taken the place of our in-person summer camp. If you are an essential worker that requires on-site child care for the summer weeks please contact us immediately as we have other options that will be available for you.
VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP:
Virtual camp registration will open the week of May 24th for all parents who have not yet registered for camp. All parents presently registered for camp will be transferred to our virtual camp roster; nothing further will need to be done on their part to ensure their child’s space at camp. Virtual Camp Open House week runs from May 18-22 from 1-2pm on both IG and FB to highlight our Kallpachay is Everywhere Spanish immersion virtual camp program with counselors leading a new activity each day for a range of levels and ages, and videos from this open house will be posted on Facebook and Instagram for those who missed out. SMALL-GROUP HOME CAMPS:
Preference is given to groups of two families who are interested in hosting at-home camps with 4 children. Please contact us as soon as possible to secure your schedule. We are taking these requests on a first-come, first-serve basis, giving preference to families that have already registered for camp and to those requesting a minimum of three weeks of programming. These are partial-day, partial-week programs.
SUMMER CAMP RELAXED CANCELLATION POLICY:
Should our parents decide at any time between now and the week before their child's first week of camp that they need to cancel their registration, they will be credited in full (less the $20 registration fee paid by all enrollees) for the entirety of all cancelled weeks. These credits can be used on all future Kallpachay camps and classes, whether in-person or online.

Fly on over and join us in an afternoon of Spanish language learning fun with our camp twist. On April 4th, from 2-4pm, Kallpachay camp staff will be guiding our activity stations for children and parents to get a hands-on experience of how our cultural and project-based learning interconnects at our camps. All families interested in learning more about our summer camps are welcome to participate with their children.
While we will only be holding a single open house this year rather than one at each of our locations as we’ve done in the past, counselors and site directors from ALL of our camp locations will be joining in to introduce themselves and mingle with our parents. Activities will be ongoing, so whether you come for only 30 minutes or stay for the full two hours, there will be plenty to do and learn as we play our way to Spanish. We look forward to meeting you!
